RSPCA SPONSORSHIP GIVES CATS AND DOGS A NEW START IN LIFE
Times remain tough for animals in the UK with cats and dogs suffering horrific cruelty, neglect and abandonment. The RSPCA is on the frontline, rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming thousands of animals.
SAVING LIVES
RSPCA Sponsorship is a life saver for suffering cats and dogs. By sponsoring a Dog Kennel or Cat Pod, you can give animals a safe place to recover until they are ready to join a loving new family. It means urgent treatment such as veterinary care and medication. It means shelter and food. It also means love, care and attention, blankets and toys.
RSPCA Sponsors have helped animals like Jupiter, (pictured above), who was abandoned and needed urgent care in order to survive. When he arrived at an RSPCA centre he was severely underweight and had to be vaccinated and treated for parasites. He needed time to recover and now is settled with a new family in Surrey, with a second chance at life.
Five kittens had a narrow escape after being tied up in a carrier bag and thrown away like rubbish. It was only as they headed for the crusher that the bin men heard them mewling, pulled them out and brought them to the RSPCA for care and protection. Following their rescue, with the help of RSPCA sponsors, these kittens have now been rehomed with loving families.

By sponsoring an RSPCA Dog Kennel or Cat Pod, you’re giving animals like Jupiter and the kittens a safe place to explore, after often being kept locked away in terrible conditions, allowing them to get used to the real world again.
EAT WELL
Just like people, animals need a good and nutritious diet to stay healthy. Unfortunately, we see a lot of cats and dogs that have never been fed properly and we spend a lot of time building them back to full health again.
PLAY
RSPCA sponsors help ensure that our dedicated staff and volunteers can spend time with those in RSPCA Cat Pods and Dog Kennels, helping them to learn to play again as they recover.
TRUST
The animals that take the longest to get better are those that have been taught to fear people. It’s tough imagining what they must have gone through - but in just a few short weeks, we can help animals start to build real trust again. And, of course, this is the most important part of preparing an animal for a new home.
