Life gets SWEETER...

- GABY HUDDART, EDITOR

I just love what our cover star Julia Bradbury says about life since she’s hit her forties. She says it’s brought more confidence and joy with it, and she loves the experience she has behind her. ‘I’m excited about the future and think life just gets sweeter,’ she says. Her positive attitude is down to all sorts of things, but none more so than her love of the outdoors and walking.

I confess to being more than a little bit obsessed with her current TV show, Britain’s Best Walks, which features some beautiful parts of our country – the list of must-see places is getting longer every week!

There’s also no better exercise than walking, as you’ll discover with our get-fit, shape-up challenge. If you’re the kind of woman who loathes diets and gyms, this is perfect for you. Our supersimple plan is all about how to work more steps into your day and clever ways to eat a little less. You’re going to love it!

One way to get some extra steps in is, of course, to walk the high street and indulge in a little retail therapy. What better pick-me-up is there than a new outfit? And, thanks to our fashion team, you won’t have to overexert your plastic – they’ve found some gorgeous pieces at amazing low prices. You’re welcome! Ever feel stuck in a rut when it’s time to fix dinner? I know I do. Luckily, our talented cookery team has put together

20 new midweek meals to put the smiles back into supper.

And some of them can be ready and on the table in only 10 minutes, which will give you back some me-time during your busy day. I’m sure you’ll find something to whet your appetite – both in those pages and in the rest of this issue, too! Enjoy.
