Veronica’s Flapjack*
• ½lb margarine (but I always use butter!)
• 2oz sugar
• 2tbsp golden syrup
• 10oz Quaker Oats
Melt the marge/butter with the sugar and syrup. Stir in the oats. Press into a tin and cook for 30 minutes at 170 degrees.
Cool before slicing. PS I mix in extras such as pumpkin seeds, dried apricots and chunks of stem ginger.
