TENSION

ABBREVIATIONS

cm centimetres; k knit; p purl; patt pattern; rep repeat; RS right side; st(s) stitch(es); tbl through back loop; tog together; TW2R k into 2nd st on left handle needle, then k into 1st st and slip both sts off needle together;

yf yarn forward; WS wrong side.

NOTES

● You may find it easier to work the wrap on a circular needle, but work backwards and forwards in rows, not in rounds.

● As you are unlikely to knit the whole wrap in one sitting, leave the sts on a circular needle, as they can stretch, if left on straight needles.

● Join in new balls of yarn between the 3-st moss st edge and the main patt.

TO MAKE

With 5mm needles, cast on 95 sts.

17th to 20th rows K1, [p1, k1] to end. These 20 rows form the patt and are repeated until wrap measures approximately 200cm from cast on edge, ending with the 20th patt row. Cast off in moss st.
