Collar
Join both shoulder seams.
Using 4.5mm needles, knit across 14(16:16:18:18) sts left on holder for right front neck, pick up and knit 20 sts evenly up right front, knit across 34(38:38:42:42) sts left on holder for back neck, pick up and knit 20 sts evenly down left front, knit across 14(16:16:18:18) sts left on holder for left front neck. 102(110:110:118:118) sts.
Rib row 1 (WS): K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end.
Rib row 2 (RS): P2, *k2, p2; rep from * to end.
These 2 rows set rib, cont in rib until collar measures 10cm from pick up edge, ending with a WS row. Cast off in rib.
To make up
Fold collar in half to WS and whip stitch cast off edge to pick up edge. Using mattress stitch, join collar side edges. Insert sleeves in position by folding sleeves in half and placing the fold to the shoulder seam; sew in position. Join side and sleeve seams. Weave in ends. Pin your garment out to the size stated in the pattern, cover with a damp cloth and leave to dry.
