SEVEN AND THE RAGGED TIMINGS
Thank you for putting out a great magazine for us aficionados of progressive rock. One of my favourite features in Prog is The Outer Limits. May I suggest that you feature Duran Duran in some not-too-distant future instalment of this section. Duran Duran have always been a hybrid of progressive rock and pop, and in recent years, their studio albums – Duran Duran (1993), Pop Trash, Astronaut, All You Need Is Now and Paper Gods – have become increasingly more proggy. Also, their live recording, A Diamond In The Mind: Live 2011, is a musical tour de force, ranking up there with Exit… Stage Left and Clockwork Angels Tour by Rush and Symphonic Live by Yes.

An interesting call. The Outer Limits has its fans, but I can’t help thinking how its detractors would react to Duran Duran. Maybe we’ll have to find out! – Amused Ed
