Longer platforms at Stevenage

Work began on March 20 to extend Platforms 1 to 4 at Stevenage station, to accommodate Virgin Trains East Coast’s Class 800/801 fleet.

Work is due to finish on June 15, and is expected to cost more than £800,000. No disruption to passenger services is expected during the programme.
