SVR reaches £1m share issue mark

The Severn Valley Railway’s share issue to fund the conservation and development of Bridgnorth station has passed the £1 million mark.

The heritage railway hopes to raise £2.5m by the end of October. New refreshment facilities, better car parking and improved road access are among the improvements planned at the railway’s northern terminus.
