Former ‘one’ ‘86/2’ scrapped

Former ‘one’ 86246 has been scrapped at CF Booth’s at Rotherham.

The Class 86/2 was withdrawn in December 2004, and was one of the last ‘86s’ in traffic with the operator. It was owned by Europhoenix, and having donated components to various classmates at Long Marston and (latterly) Willesden, it was sent north for scrapping.
