It’s good to talk
Interesting to read the news item on the Rail Delivery Group’s conference and plans for future innovation ( RAIL 820).
I note that plans include “fully intelligent trains” that ‘talk’ to each other to make better use of the railway.
In order to investigate the viability of that scheme, may I suggest that the RDG makes a fact-finding visit to the busy rail network on the Island of Sodor, where such locomotives and rolling stock have been in service for many years. Keith Sharp, Chester
