■ Create Metro railway with simpler service patterns and high-capacity trains, including interchang­e at Streatham.

Orbital routes

■ Barking Riverside.

■ Higher capacity on North London Line.

■ Upgrade East London Line to 24 trains per hour.

■ Run eight-car Southern trains to Shepherd’s Bush

Great Northern

■ Improve signalling to run more trains into Moorgate.

West Anglia

■ More frequent and longer trains, including an extra 2tph in peaks between Cheshunt and Seven Sisters.

■ Four tracks through Lea Valley as potential first phase of Crossrail 2.

Great Eastern

■ More 12-car trains and an extra 3tph on outer-suburban services.

Essex Thameside

■ More peak 12-car trains for Shoeburyne­ss, Southend Central and Laindon and Thorpe Bay and Pitsea via Rainham and via Ockendon

High Speed 1

■ More full-length 12-car trains.

South Eastern

■ Create Metro railway with simpler service patterns and high-capacity trains.
