West Midlands set for mobility trial
Transport for West Midlands is to test a new mobility as a service scheme, which aims to help people plan, book and pay for public transport journeys within a single mobile application.
Bicycle sharing company nextbike is collaborating with mobile application Whim in the scheme, which is set to be introduced on a trial basis this autumn. National Express, SilverRail, Birmingham City Council, Enterprise and Gett have all signed a memorandum of understanding for the pilot scheme.
