Analysis continues on Crossrail 2

A thorough examination of Crossrail 2 is being carried out by the Department for Transport, according to Rail Minister Paul Maynard.

In a Commons Written Reply on June 28, Maynard told Stephen Hammond (Conservative, Wimbledon) that this included examining the National Infrastructure Commission’s recommendations on the scheme.

Maynard added that the next steps and timescales, including public consultation, will be decided as part of this analysis.
