Grant to head Porterbrook

Mary Grant has been appointed chief executive of Porterbrook.

The former ScotRail Managing Director was due to join the rolling stock leasing company and its board on September 13 (after this issue of RAIL went to press). She replaces current CEO Paul Francis, who is retiring from the role after more than 20 years.

Grant has more than 20 years’ experience in the UK and international transport sector, including senior roles at FirstGroup, National Express and Eurostar.
