Four visitors to star at Essex gala

Four visiting locomotives will star at the Epping and Ongar Railway diesel gala on September 23/24, with a fifth to be confirmed.

Already attending the gala will be D8001 (20001), 5343 (26043), 33202 and 50026 Indomitable. It is hoped a Railway Support Services Class 08 will also attend.

Resident locomotives in action are expected to be D6729 (37029), 03170 and 31438. The EOR’s Class 205 Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DEMU) ‘Thumper’ 205205 and Class 117 diesel multiple unit will also be in action.
