CRP achievements

In the 20 years since the Bittern Line Community Rail Partnership was formed, it has increased the service frequency, introduced later trains in the evenings and at weekends, provided additional station facilities including ticket machines, customer information screens and cycle parking, and enhanced community links. Additional capacity for special events has been secured, and there are plans to install ticket machines at all stations.

The CRP has also formed links with attractions on its route, such as the Bure Valley Railway ( Wroxham-Aylsham) and the North Norfolk Railway (Sheringham to Holt). It also connects with Coasthopper bus services to make public transport a more convenient option for journeys.
