Are passengers put first?

-

Next Issue ( RAIL 831) has the headline: “Putting the passenger first.” Hmm! More like:

Bone-hard seats that infest nearly all new trains and some refurbs. Poor legroom. Poor or no view out of windows (talking of which, I’m pleased the Alliance Rail West Coast Main Line

plans no longer feature Pendolinos). Poor or no catering As for Cross Country’s ‘Advance on the day’ tickets with reservations, I’d love to know how many people have been ejected from ‘available’ seats. What would things be like if the train operators weren’t putting us first Tim Holmes, Nottingham
