Rail (UK)

How can you help?

-

YRP relies on volunteer members from within the rail industry. Whether you class as a young rail professional or are just passionate about helping others succeed, there are plenty of ways to get involved. YRP needs:

Companies to empower their young employees to become members of YRP, engage in its activities, and (even better) volunteer with the regional and national committees.

Senior managers to encourage their junior staff to enhance their own careers and also give something back.

Interesting and innovative speakers to share their ideas with members.

Organisations to champion the ideals of diversity internally and externally.

Corporate members to support YRP’s endeavours and partner with YRP to deliver on its mission to promote, inspire and develop.

For Rail Week 2017 - as many companies as possible to get involved and help it promote the rail industry as an amazing place to work.

There is nothing more encouraging than witnessing the passionate way in which new members of the rail industry become an integral part of its development. Organisations such as YRP have become the shop window that tempts new talent to step inside the rail sweet shop.

Every engaging and inspiring individual who puts their energy behind what YRP is trying to achieve could be the difference between great talent either joining rail or picking something else - the difference between them becoming the next great rail leader or a banker. Something to think about…
