Rail projects boost for Morgan Sindall
A series of contract wins in the rail sector helped Morgan Sindall Group increase operating profits in 2017 by 41% to £68.6 million, and turnover by 9% to £2.8 billion.
The company’s rail division won a £20m design and build contract for London Underground’s Train Modification Unit at Acton, in addition to an £18m deal for electrification works on the Stirling, Alloa and Dunblane lines.
