TfGN responds to anti-social increase

Transport for Greater Manchester will gain greater powers to prevent anti-social behaviour on its transport network, if Parliament approves a bid to allow it to apply to the courts for civil injunctions against those involved in ‘nuisance and anti-social behaviour’.

Year on year increases in anti-social behaviour have been reported on Metrolink, bus stations and bus services, with 3,984 incidents in 2016-17.
