Eggborough:

The coal- fired power station will now close in September, two years later than expected. This will leave only six such plants remaining in the UK.

Horden:

Durham County Council has increased its contribution towards the reopening of the station by £ 750,000, to £ 3 million. It is hoped to have the station operational in 2020.
