NR rebuild task at Warrington

Network Rail is to rebuild a bridge on Stocks Lane (Warrington), in a two-phase project.

The first phase, which includes the closure of the ManchesterLiverpool via Warrington line on March 9-11 and 16-18, involves demolition and rebuilding of the 150-year-old structure.

A second phase to be carried out by Warrington Borough Council starts in April, and involves installing safety barriers, highway fencing and laying the road and footpaths.
