High Speed Train joins Hull fleet

Hull Trains took delivery of a High Speed Train on January 29.

The ex-Great Western Railway set will be used as a contingency, owing to reliability problems affecting its four Class 180 diesel multiple units.

The HST moved from St Philips Marsh depot. Sent to Hull Trains are power cars 43165 and 43190, along with Trailer Restaurant First Buffet (TRFB) 40718, Trailer First (TF) 41018, Trailer Standards (TS) 42024/026 and Trailer Guard Standard (TGS) 44034.
