TPE Mk 5A testing intensifies

TransPennine Express Class 68s and CAF Mk 5As continue mileage accumulation on the West Coast Main Line, ahead of their entry into passenger service. It is expected that the sets will enter traffic from May, running on the Liverpool Lime Street/Manchester Airport-Scarborough/Middlesbrough routes. On January 31, 68032 trails a Carlisle-Bletchley test train across Docker Viaduct (Cumbria).
