Season tickets: £260m refunded
More than £260 million has been refunded to more than 160,000 season ticket holders since March 17, in response to the COVID-19 travel restrictions.
The figures were revealed in a Lords Written Reply from
Baroness Vere to the Marquess of Lothian Michael Ancram (Conservative) on July 2.
Vere added: “We are monitoring train operators’ refund processing times to ensure that refunds are paid as quickly as possible.”
