£2.6m Balham upgrade begins

Network Rail has started a £2.6 million upgrade of Balham station that is due to finish in spring 2021.

The work involves installation of new sheeting on platform canopies, galvanised steel canopy gutters, new tactile paving on platforms, and a new drainage system on the platform surface and for the wider station.
