HST CREW TRAINING
Locomotive Services Ltd 43058 leads the 1111 Carnforth Loop-Rugby crew training trip through Crewe on November 3, with LSL 43059 on the rear. The High Speed Train power cars are two of five former East Midlands Railway ‘43s’ acquired by LSL from Porterbrook. Two (43046/055) have been repainted into Nanking Blue for LSL’s Midland Pullman, along with a rake of Mk 3s. A second HST will be used by LSL for its InterCity charter operations, and this will be repainted in IC Swallow livery.
