Blue Pullman HST

-

Locomotive Services Limited’s new HST, repainted to replicate the Blue Pulllman luxury trains, takes to the rails.

Locomotive Services Limited 43055 leads a rake of Nanking blue Mk 3s and 43046 through Winchester on October 30, running from Eastleigh Works-Crewe Diesel Depot. The High Speed Train, owned by LSL, has been repainted to replicate the Blue Pullman luxury trains built for British Rail and which ran from 1960-73. LSL has branded its HST ‘Midland Pullman’ and had been due to launch the train into traffic on November 14, re-creating the St Pancras-Manchester Piccadilly operated by the Midland Region sets. However, due to lockdown restrictions, that has been postponed to December 12.
