Councils take no counsel
On page 24 of RAIL 910 ( Regional
News), we read that West Norfolk Council is considering whether to grant planning permission for 32 houses on the site of Hunstanton station.
On page 30 ( Analysis), there is a case study on the reopening of the line and the 122-page professional consultants’ report on reopening of the railway - funded entirely by Norfolk County Council.
Don’t these councils talk to one another?
