National Rail Map
In The Fare Dealer for RAIL 894, I wrote about the latest UK National Rail map to emanate from nationalrail.com, showing every station on the network. It could only be collected in person from Bishop Auckland station or the Brunel Museum at Rotherhithe.
The 2021 version is now available from www.railmap.org.uk and this time features horse racing, with every racecourse in Britain and Ireland listed, plus extras such as request stops, stations with a ‘Platform 0’, PlusBus and interchanges with light rail and Underground being shown.
Of course, all 2,619 stations open (or due to open in the foreseeable future) in the UK (including Northern Ireland), each with its three-letter code, are included.
The poster map is 63cm x 100cm and costs £ 10 each, plus £ 7.90 postage and packing (in a sturdy cardboard tube, which can take up to four maps).
