LO’s pioneer ‘315’ taken for scrap

-

The final London Overground Class 315s were taken for scrap at Newport Docks on November 23.

The scrapping of pioneer 315801 and 315815 leaves only the surviving TfL Rail

Class 315s to be disposed of, with 21 of the once 61-strong electric multiple unit fleet remaining.

These continue to run on the London Liverpool StreetShenfield route, but more Class 345s are being introduced to replace them.
