Lilac – Touch

It’s been a while since the brilliant Losing Myself (In You) single from Lilac which made our top 20 of 2022. However it was worth the wait, as they have just released their new single Touch, and it’s so good that it had to be lead track this week.

It has a quiet start with an impressive vocal before building into a powerful wall of indie rock sound and it has an excellent guitar solo too.

They performed a great set at Wokingham Festival recently and headline their own show at West End Centre, Aldershot this Saturday, so if you fancy some of their excellent floral indie sound get along there - https://lilacband.co.uk/

AlphaLine - Paper Cups

They made their debut festival appearance at Wokingham Festival and definitely made new friends there with an impressive performance.

They have just released their debut EP, Polarity, from which this track is taken.

It’s produced by Aaron Cilia and showcases the band’s intriguing sound which is a mixture of indie, prog, psychedelia, electronic and lots more - https:// www.alphalineband.com/

Danny Lampo – Puutu

Danny is a skilled footballer with the Reading Tigers and also a talented musician creating music with an afrobeats dancehall influence such as this new single.

Danny has released a number of singles already and now this one is an exciting new collaboration with another talented musician, Article Wan.

Danny has made many live appearances so keep an eye on his social media for more - https://www. dannylampo.com/

Caravan – Ready or Not

This legendary band headlined Wokingham Festival and showed that they were as good as ever.

As well as material from their classic albums the band also performed a few from their recent 2021 album, It’s None of Your Business which features the current line up, such as this one - https:// officialcaravan.co.uk/

Wishbone Ash – Blowin’ Free

Martin Turner ex Wishbone Ash has played some brilliant shows at Wokingham Music Club in the past and he returns this Friday, September 15.

That’s a great excuse to listen to this classic again - https://www.martinturnermusic.com/

Selina and the Howlin Dogs – Midnight Man

It’s great to have a current local band such as Selina and the Howlin Dogs playing a modern classic rock style. Here’s a song from their brand new album, Biscuit City - https://www.selinaandthehowlindogs. com/

Art Themen – The Night Has A Thousand Eyes

Here’s the brilliant jazz saxophonist who will be at Wokingham’s Whitty Theatre on Friday, September 29 in aid of Wokingham in Need. This is from the album Art released with Dave Barry - https://www. ticketsource.co.uk/wokinghaminneed/

Who Ate All The Crayons – Deep Blue Delivery

Here’s a song from the brand new Deep Blue EP by this band who create wonderful indie pop https://linktr.ee/whoateallthecrayons

Jopy – Ka Ka Killer

Jopy has been playing gigs in the local area with excellent and exciting live performances.
