Kyros – Esoterica
This band have many links to the area. They are on our White Star Records label, are managed by Dean at Generation Studio and their drummer, Robin Johnson is from Wokingham.
Robin is building quite a reputation as one of the best drummers around and so fits perfectly in Kyros, a band of excellent musicians who are creating quite a buzz with their live shows and record releases.

Danny Lampo – Number One
We hadn’t heard any of Danny’s music until a few months ago when we featured his Puutu single.
That encouraged us to explore some of the Reading musician’s other releases and we really loved this one so thought we’d include it here.
It was a single in 2022 and also features on Danny’s African Queen EP that was released earlier this year. It feels like it should be a huge international hit with its chilled groove and wonderful guest vocal from AJ Safoat – https://www.dannylampo.com/
Rocket Kings – Paving the Way
Those wonderful purveyors of uke pop from Reading have released their brand new album and this is the title track. It’s a fine collection and you can see them at The Castle Tap in Reading on December 9 – https://www.facebook.com/rocketkings/
The March Violets – Snake Dance
The March Violets came out of the Leeds goth scene in the 90s and were regularly high in the indie charts of the time. This is one of those singles.

That Joe Payne – My Heart

Rila’s Edge – Gold
We popped along to this Wokingham band’s Reading Facebar show recently and it was another brilliant performance. They play further afield this month with shows in London and Bristol.

Lilac – Touch
