Beans on Toast – AI
This singer-songwriter has played in the local area a few times for Club Velocity and pulls a bigger crowd each time. He’s coming back to the Reading Face Bar on March 5 as part of an extensive tour for his forthcoming album
The Toothpaste and the Tube which is out on December 1.
He is known for his excellent songs which explore social issues and current affairs with astute observation, wit and catchy choruses.

Tom Webber – Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime
Here’s another artist that has been championed by Club Velocity (Sid and Nigel certainly know good music) and it’s not hard to see why.
Tom, from Oxford, has released a new four-track EP, The RAK Tracks, and it’s a quality release.
The whole EP shows what a unique voice Tom has and the three original songs show what a good songwriter he is.
We are showcasing here though a brilliant interpretation of a song many will know, as it’s the famous hit by The Korgis.

Barbara – Pretty Straight Guy
If you are going to Reading Hexagon on October 28 to see those fine purveyors of 80’s pop, Haircut 100, make sure you get there in time to see the support band.
They are Barbara, a band from Brighton based around brothers, Henry and John Tydeman, and, from the sound of this single released earlier in the year, they are fine purveyors of current pop and are well worth checking out - linktr.ee/barbaratheband
Kyros – Esoterica
This band have many links to the local area, including being on our White Star Records label, and they have just released their new single.

This song features on the Reading musician’s African Queen EP that was released earlier this year.
