Don Broco – T-Shirt Song (Live)

On stage at a packed Reading Hexagon last week this band from Bedford spoke about how they had played at Reading’s Face Bar in their early days.

They have achieved a lot since then, headlining venues such as Wembley Arena & the Royal Albert Hall and getting to No.1 in the Official Album Chart.

They certainly put on an arena-style performance at the Hexagon which had the crowd jumping as soon as they hit the stage with a set that featured all of the band’s most popular tracks as well as the first performance ever of a new song from their next album.

The set closed with The Hexagon crowd singing along and waving their T-Shirts in the air to the awesome, T-Shirt Song. This version is from their new Live from the Royal Albert Hall album.

Don Broco have gone from small venues to arenas so make sure you get out to venues like Reading Face Bar. You never know where that new band you are seeing may end up – www.donbroco.com

Adomania – M X V

One of our fave local bands recently went into Generation Studio in Maidenhead to record some new songs with producer, Dean Nelson.

It’s Adomania and they have just released a single featuring two songs from those sessions.

They both sound great with a powerful sound including wonderful fuzzed up guitar and the always impressive soaring vocals of singer, Madeleine Bowis – www.facebook.com/AdomaniaBand

Rila’s Edge – Wynona

We’ve featured this band several times as they are surely one of the best new ban’s to emerge in the last year.

They have released a new EP, Too Late to Turn Back, and, as well as three singles from earlier this year, it features two new songs of which this is one.

Yet again, it shows quality songwriting from the band who will be live at a special end-of-year show in their home town of Wokingham on December 16 at The Gig House.

It should be quite a night as the band celebrate an exceptional year – www.rilasedge.com
