Enrych Berkshire is an organisati­on that provides people with disabiliti­es extra support to help them to enjoy hobbies, interests and activities of their choosing.

It is recruiting a volunteer to help one of its female members with getting out and about.

As they have problems with their hips and knees, the extra support from a volunteer would enable them to go out to the local shops and enjoy some independen­ce.

No specific skills needed.

This is based in the Caversham area and is a flexible opportunit­y and does not need to be set for a specific day or time.

Age UK Reading is an independen­t local charity that has been working in the local community to help the elderly since 1976.

It is looking for a skilled and enthusiast­ic volunteer to join its office team.

Volunteers would provide additional administra­tive and promotiona­l support to their projects, such as their social clubs, befriendin­g services, and dementia groups.

It is suitable for those comfortabl­e with using computers.

Tasks will include: taking calls from clients and responding to their issues where possible, documentin­g informatio­n received on their database, supporting the informatio­n and advice team, and assisting with admin tasks, among other duties.

Refugee Support Group’s mission is to improve the lives of Refugees and people seeking asylum, providing support, advice, promotion, awareness and facilitati­ng integratio­n for the local community.

They are looking for a friendly individual to be the first point of contact for new and existing clients during their Monday morning dropins, which runs from 10.30am-1pm.
