SEE US AT STAFFORD
You’ll find all the essential info about this month’s Stafford Show in our Outward Bound events listing. If you’re coming along to the
Carole Nash Classic Mechanics extravaganza then we have some additional ‘don’t miss this’ recommendations to make the most of your day at the Stafford County Showground:
➤ CHECK OUT the Morini Riders’ Club, on the balcony, where you should be able to see the 3½ Strada we featured recently. You might be able to pester EVGuru Paul for an espresso while you’re at it…
➤ THEN TODDLE along to the RC stand,, which is B100, also on the balcony. We’ll have binders and back issues for sale, pluus (possibly!) our groovy new T-shirts (desiggn seen here) and we may even have some super RC150 stickers left (swoon!)
➤ SEEK OUT the VMCC stand, where youu can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win their Suzuki GT750 (as featured this month on RealClassic.co.uk) ➤ HONDA HEAVEN awaits you; as well as WSB winner Aaron Slight, there’s a special display of genuine comeptition RC45s, including Jim Moody’s TT record-breaking factory bike. Drop by the Classic Racer paddock to hear them in action
➤ ORDER SPARES in advance from your favourite purveyor for collection at the event. Paul Goff, for instance, now supplies an ignition cut-out switch (as seen on our Facebook feed) which prevents your bike’s sparks seeping away while it’s parked up – and acts as an additional anti-theft device. Find him in one of the smaller autojumble halls to avoid that flat battery moment!
➤ THE RESTORATION THEATRE is being hosted by the VJMC this time, so check the timing of sessions throughout the weekend when they’ll be wielding the spanners to solve real-world workshop problems
➤ BLACK IS THE NEW WHITE. Coffee, that is. Frank no longer takes milk in his coffee, so the new order is a medio Americano, if you’d be so kind!
The Carole Nash Classic Mechanics Show is on 14th and 15th October, and cheaper advance tickets are available from staffordclassicbikeshows.com or 01507 529529.
