THIS MONTH we’ve been reading the LUCIFER graphic novels (heavyweight literary stuff ); THE MAN WHO DIED (delicate Scandi noir); HOW TO REMOVE A BRAIN (silly snippets of medical mayhem); CHANCE (a clever and complicated Californian psyche-thriller); FIRERAISER (excellent Scandi guessing game), and CERTAIN SIGNS THAT YOU ARE DEAD (same author, Torkil Damhaug, same series, read by accident out of sequence).
MEANWHILE AT THE MOVIES we’ve seen heaps but nothing beats BLADE RUNNER 2049. That might actually be the best movie of everness. Certainly Harrison Ford’s best performance since… birth. Wows
