THE BEAUTY INFLUENCER

Red’s best beauty buys this month

THIS MONTH I’VE BEEN…

… walking around in a cloud of Byredo Bibliothèque (£110 for 50ml), a creamy, musty EDP based on the best-selling candle; appreciating the glimmer in Garnier Express Retouch (£9.99) – it makes root touch-ups less flat; greedily hoarding Glossier’s Lidstar (£25 each) in every shade.

HOW TO GLOW

If you’re what some beauty experts call a ‘slapper’, it could be time to rethink your ways – the way you apply your skincare, that is. According to facialist Ziggie Bergman, who combines intuitive, crystal and herb-based healing with medical insight, massaging in your product, not just slapping it on, is proven to improve your complexion. But, she says, lots of women don’t like touching their skin, or don’t feel confident about it. That’s where a tool can help. Cue Bergman’s Zone Face Lift Jade Massager (£35), which is easy to use and leaves skin tingly, glowing and plump. She recommends using it with Zone Face Lift Facial Elixir (£75). It’s a beauty gesture that could stop sagging in its tracks. Get started with Bergman’s Zone Face Lift facial at London’s Grace spa (£185). It’s worth it for the techniques you take away.

Think pink!

Benefit has so far raised more than £1million in the UK through their Bold Is Beautiful campaign for charities Refuge and Look Good Feel Better. Help them keep up the great work by getting your brows shaped at a Benefit store this month. It costs £15.50, and every penny goes to charity. They’re also launching four all-pink, pop-up charity shops, so do bring along any unwanted pink items while you’re at it.

20-SECOND SKIN FIX

Is it a primer? Is it an illuminator? No, it’s Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter (£30), a kind of tinted radiance cream that has an Instagram-smooth effect on skin. I dot it on immediately after my skincare routine (you need the hydration), to the centre of my face (see left), then blend well. The reward is a calmer, more even-looking complexion and beautiful lit-from-within glow, with no trace of make-up on skin. Seven shades means there’s the perfect match for everyone.
