Fireworks fizz
This limited-edition Champagne, presented in a beautiful gift box, is the perfect New Year’s Eve indulgence. Pour into one of the coupes on page 139 and enjoy every delicious sip.
SOFT TOUCH
Renowned in the design world for creating elegant interiors and sourcing one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture, Rose Uniacke also turns her expert hand to fabrics. Her latest additions include luxe velvets, herringbone wools, tactile corduroys and even spotty-print linens! All look and feel more expensive than they actually are. Very smart.
FAIR AND SQUARE
Bert & May’s handmade tiles are distinctive for their charming patterns and matt surfaces, and the Luna collection, which features a central star motif, is no exception. The brand has just added the Fennel colourway to the range: a deep shade of green that I can see working particularly well in kitchens.
GLASS ACT
From printed cushions to whimsical bottle stoppers, the Amsterdam-based lifestyle brand Anna + Nina has much to choose from, and its pretty glass candlesticks have caught my eye. I’m planning to mix and match a few of them, pairing each with delicately coloured dinner candles.
ON THE SIDE
Decorative without being too fussy, these tables – made from unvarnished oak – are just the thing for a tricky corner. They’re made to order by furniture maker Alfred Newall at The London Workshop, so can be easily customised to fit any space.
