CHURCH MATTERS: On Sunday April 14 the third Sunday of Easter, a service of lessons and Easter hymns was held at the local church at 9.30am. During the service various members of the congregati­on did a reading. The service for next week Sunday April 21 a special Worship for All service will take place involving the children from Sutton-cumLound school.

SUTTON ART GROUP: The local art group meet every Friday morning in the village hall throughout the year from 10am -12 30pm.

GARDENING CLUB: The next meeting of the Gardening Club is scheduled for Thursday May 9, a week later due to the venue being used for election purposes. The group will meet at the usual time of 7pm at Sutton Village Hall.

FISH AND CHIP FRIDAY: Time and Plaice will once again be serving up freshly cooked fish and chips in the grounds of the village hall on Friday April 19 from 5pm–7pm. The village hall will be open so you can sit and enjoy your meal in comfort with family and friends. The licensed bar will also be open if you wish to enjoy a drink with your meal.

POST OFFICE: The Post office operates in the Village Hall on Tuesdays from 1pm - 4.30pm and Wednesdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Services

offered include banking, Cash Deposits, Cash Withdrawal­s, Bill Payments plus lots more. Please call in.
