SPORTS OR TOURING? While many helmets claim to be for sports riding or touring, a decent lid will have no problem coping with both, so don’t think you need to fork out twice. REAL WORLD Race track looks are all very well but real-world road riders have slightly different needs to Motogp heroes, which is where sports helmets come in. WARRANTY Many helmets come with a warranty, often for five years, which is the recommended lifespan of a helmet. Be aware that this warranty covers manufacturing flaws, not crash damage!
