The K5 S helmet is an evolution of AGV’S popular K5 lid but it’s had a major overhaul rather than just a few tweaks. The outer shell is made from CAF (carbon fibreglass) and is made in two sizes while there are four different-sizes of inner lining and padding (all removable and washable) to ensure a perfect fit. The ventilation system is recessed to improve aerodynamics and reduce wind noise, while the spoiler is also integrated for a seamless fit. The K5 S includes a nose guard, chin guard and anti-mist Pinlock visor insert as well as an integrated sun visor. The main visor is a quick-release system and the chin strap fastens with a traditional Double-d ring. The lining is specially treated so it wicks away sweat and is also anti-bacterial. AGV is aiming the new helmet at sports and touring riders although it’s perfectly suitable for any kind of road use.
