Excellent on most styles of machine, not just adventure bikes. Furygan Gene Sympatex Evo Expect to pay: £100 nevis.uk.com They look like casual boots that might be suitable for scooter use around town but in fact these are excellent for on-bike use. Comfortable and dry, though with limited protection. Daytona Lady Star GTX Expect to pay: £380 tranam.co.uk Supple leather, a tough zip, good ankle and shin protection, a Gore-tex waterproof liner and a hidden 20mm lift. Great quality boots that really are designed with lady riders in mind. Sidi Adventure Gore Expect to pay: sidiselect.co.uk Flexible enough to walk in but tough enough to go riding through hedges – and waterproof enough for splashing through rivers. Excellent quality adventure boots and very easy to live with.
