THIS SPORTS TOURING helmet fastens with double D-rings and has a hi-tech fibre shell, so is fairly light (1530g for an XL). The easy-to-remove main visor has a Pinlock - which it needs as it can get misty (affecting the drop-down sunvisor) even though the visor can be left cracked open and the large plastic vents are easy-touse. It’s pretty quiet and the removeable liner is comfortable, but quite synthetic, though it doesn’t get itchy. It’s a decent lid but for £400 I’d expect a plusher, more-premium, less-plastic feel. SW
