Stand secure

-

Just read the section on bike security in the city breaks story. I tour with a disc lock plus a cable and padlock. If there’s nothing sturdy to cable the bike to, I put it on the main stand and route the cable tightly from the bottom of the stand to the forks or wheel. This locks the front wheel and holds the main stand forwards so the bike can’t easily be flipped off it, which probably makes it more difficult to drag the bike around a corner to hack the locks off.
