Today’s version

Both the Kawasaki ZX-12R and BMW K1200S are no more – the ZX-12R didn’t even make it out of 2005. The K12 was replaced by a refined K1300S in 2010… but even that was killed off at the end of 2016 by the Euro 4 standard. The survivors in the hypersports tourer class are Kawasaki’s ZZR1400 and the Suzuki Hayabusa, while BMW has shifted its high-speed sports tourer focus to the more upright S1000XR.
