The BMW R1200RT has an integrated sat nav – but it’s not lockable. So this neat shield is designed to let you leave the sat nav unit in place with confidene when you go to lunch. Once it’s fitted, you simply fold the powder-coated stainless-steel shield down and lock it in place every time you get off the bike. Equally helpfully, when the shield is in the open position it acts as an anti-glare shield, increasing contrast on the sat nav’s screen and making it easier to read.
