FACT FILE: CASTLETOWN

How to get there: Ronaldsway airport sits right next to Castletown, but if you’re riding you’ll need a ferry from Liverpool, Heysham, Holyhead, Belfast or Dublin. How long for? Ideally from Monday to Friday (July 9-14) as the Southern 100 practice and racing runs from July 10-13. How much? Ferry prices vary depending on what time you travel, but expect to pay less than £100 each way outside of TT week. Hotels are also much cheaper when the TT’S not on so you’ll get a decent room for around £70 a night. Food and drink is priced the same as on the mainland.
