BMW K1300S 2009, 53k miles. Some cleaning up of calipers and rear suspension linkages needed. Great alternative to a Hayabusa, comes with panniers, Giles rearsets, crash bobbins and Vario screen. £4790

Triumph Daytona 675

2010, 38k miles. Limited edition with blue frame but wheels are corroded and some signs of a lack of love. £4889

Ducati Monster 696 2011, 14k miles. Original ‘Rossi’ edition that’s been looked after. Some small areas of engine could do with cleaning up and respraying, but otherwise a fabulous-looking bike. Check cambelt service – even if miles are low they need changing on time basis, too. £4989

Triumph Street Triple

2014, 33k miles. High miles but, other than a broken brake lever, very few problems to see. Check valve clearances have been done recently and feel for slipping clutch on road test. £4990

Ducati 749 Biposto

2006, 18k miles. Check servicing is totally up to date, with proof that cambelts were done, especially with low miles – Ducati belts don’t like being stood up for long periods. Servicing is also costlier than other brands. £4990

BMW R1200GS Adventure 2009, 67k miles. Good condition, FSH, a few scratches and marks and aluminium panniers have had a bit of abuse, but mileage is what drags price down. Heated grips but needs a new screen. £5990
